Marion County Fair Car Show

The Marion County Fair Car Show returns in 2026 with an exciting new location in downtown Palmyra!

This year's show will be held on Lafayette Street on the south side of the Marion County Courthouse Square, between Main Street and Dickerson Street. Bring your classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles for a day of automotive fun to kick off the Marion County Fair.

Participants and spectators will enjoy a unique downtown setting right in the heart of Palmyra. The new location provides excellent visibility and places the show alongside other Marion County Fair activities happening throughout the day. 

Please note that Main Street will close at 10:00 AM for the Marion County Fair Parade.

If you arrive after the street closure, you may still access the car show by entering from Dickerson Street and proceeding to the show area on Lafayette Street.
