Art Show

Make plans to attend and participate in the 49th Annual Marion County Fair Art Show that is held annually during the fair in Floral Hall!

Open the evening of Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 8 from 5pm to 10pm

Anyone within a 75 mile radius of Palmyra is welcome to participate in the art show. 

One person is limited to submit no more than three (3)  pieces of art. 

All art must be original. No crafts, and no art previously shown in the Art Show at the fair. 

All art must be properly prepared for display and/or wired for hanging, or it will not be accepted. 

All art must be priced if it is for sale. 

The greatest care will be taken in handling the art, but no responsibility will be taken for damage or loss. 

Art drop off & registration: 

Tuesday, August 4 from 5:30p-7:30p

Art pick-up: 

After 9pm on Saturday, August 8

Between 1pm & 2pm on Sunday, August 9

1. Oil & Acrylic as Oil, unglazed*

2. Watercolor & Acrylic as Watercolor*

3. Pastels, Drawings, Prints, as mixed media* 

4. Photography

5. Sculpted Clay or Carved Wood

*Professional & Amateur Divisions 

One Class - Open to all media

Three Youth Divisions: 

1. Kindergarten thru Grade 4

2. Grade 5 thru Grade 8

3. Grade 9 thru Grade 12
